    I am also having this issue - when tracing the same image with the same preset/settings they come out radically different with lots of artifacts and choppiness to the lines. I have to use 26.5.3 to get a usable result.

    Windows 10 19045.3088
    Version 27.6.1
    Steps - hit image trace with a preset imported from 26.5.3 > image trace came out differently with same settings
