  1. When 'paste remembers layer' is checked then placing images should automatically go to selected layer rather than a new layer being created

    Apologies Egor, by 'placing images' I meant to say dragging from a folder or from Bridge and dropping into Illustrator creates a new layer when 'paste remembers layer' is checked.
    I prefer to drag-drop as File->Place can sometimes be tedious when looking for files from different locations and I normally have the relevant folders open.
