    I like to custom draw type in Illustrator, and as far as I know Object on Path is the only way to distribute vector objects along a path in the same way Type on a Path works. Since it snaps into even spacing, there's no optical kerning on my type and it looks crazy so I have to do a manual adjustment. If we could custom space that would be soooo helpful!
