Just spotted something interesting on the InDesign start screen. There's a 'Hide suggestions' button at top right which will close the top feature promo panel.

Doing a few tests closing and reopening the app, it appears to remember your choice. ie. if you clicked to hide the panel then reopened the app, it will still be hidden. If you left it visible, it will still be visible.

If Adobe can implement this in InDesign they should be able to do the same in Illustrator for the AI and features panel. They will at least get a thumbs-up from me if they do. 👍

The Illustrator home page is slowing down workflow due to the poorly positioned AI generation box. It takes up way too much space and we have to scroll down now to see our recent files. Give us the option to remove/hide it - I for one never use it so it's just in the way. The featured row is not so bad on its own as it doesn't use as much height (tbh I'd prefer being able to hide that too though). Once you have the AI box dumped above it, the recent files grid is pushed down so far as to be almost totally hidden until you scroll down.
