    Scale Tool: Please add an option to disable axis-specific scaling so that holding Shift always guarantees proportional scaling.

    Option to Lock Proportional Scaling has been implemented in an impractical way - when dragging with the Scale Tool while holding Shift, Illustrator can unexpectedly switch to horizontal-only or vertical-only scaling, distorting the object's proportions.
