    I would like the ability to bring a 3d CAD file into Adobe Illustrator and be able to manipulate the layers like any other vector file. I know a CAD file can be exported as a DWG file and brought into illustrator with it's existing layers, but this is only possible with a 2d CAD file. It would be a huge help if this were available for 3d as well.
