   Background Save is now available in Illustrator CC 2020 (24.0.0 or higher versions).

   Every time I finish working in Ai for the day, I have to close and save my multiple files I have open - as they are usually quite large, this process can take some time. And because you have to wait for each file to save and close before you can save the next file, it is time consuming, especially as you are trying to rush out the door at the end of the day.

   Photoshop allows you to hit save, and then select your other tab and hit save and it will queue up all your saves - how great! You can also continue to work in your file while the document is saving in Photosshop - another great feature.

   It would be great if this feature could be included in Illustrator as well.
