  1. saving ai/pdf file is too slow

    update: I googled around some info to work around this and I tried to reset the preference setting of illustrator but I am facing the same problem. It is causing me a great deal of pain as I am a graphic designer and I HAVE TO WORK!

    FYI: my new mbp has 16g ram and i am working on 200mb sized ai file. I checked that while the ai file is being saved only 13% of ram is used so it is def not a hardware prob.
