    I have this same issue. Can't open any files or create new ones. Everything was working fine yesterday, then suddenly I get the "An unknown error has occured." message.

    When trying to create a new file I get the same message followed by another "Can't create a new illustration. The command was canceled."

    I can open any of the same files perfectly fine on other computers running the same specs.

    OSX 10.11.6

    16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
    Nvidia GeForce GTX 780M
