   Background Save is now available in Illustrator CC 2020 (24.0.0 or higher versions).

   Please update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html

   @tenrater No, I'm sorry, it doesn't do that yet. All work on the current grafic is halted while SAVE occurs. Depending on the speed of your network, the SAVE operation will hold you up for between 30 seconds (when I'm at work) or 5 minutes (when I'm working remotely.

   So no, it's NOT fixed ... yet.

   And pardon me for pointing this out, but your tagline makes it look like you're a spammer.
