AI Assistant in Illustrator (Beta) v 30.7 & above
Illustrator's AI Assistant is now available in Illustrator Beta (v30.7). The AI Assistant is your production partner that takes care of repetitive, time-consuming tasks, so you can spend more time doing what matters most: designing, creating, and making creative decisions.
What can the AI Assistant do?
AI Assistant is optimized for production workflows, helping you automate tasks such as batch edits, file cleanup and organization, export and handoff workflows, and quality checks before delivery or print. And this is just the beginning. We’re excited to see what workflows you discover.
How to use AI Assistant (Refer to the short video and screenshot below)
1. Open Illustrator Beta (v30.7 or later).
2. Click the new AI Assistant button in the top-right corner of the application bar.
3. The Assistant panel will open.
4. Describe the task you want done in natural language prompt.
Pro tip: The more specific you are, the better the results. Tell Assistant both what you want it to do and any constraints or things you want it to avoid.
Your feedback is incredibly valuable and will help us improve the AI Assistant. After every response, you’ll see "thumbs up" and "thumbs down" buttons. Please take a moment to rate the result and share your thoughts. You can report any issues/ bugs in this thread.
Please note: The assistant is being rolled out gradually and will be available to everyone by Tuesday, June 23. So, in case you don't see it, there's no action required on your part; you'll get access soon.
