It’s surprising that InDesign — a layout tool — already supports three levels of incremental nudging, while Illustrator, a precision drawing platform, is still limited to only two with no native way to add or customize additional increments. A third (or more if possible), ultra‑fine nudge level would dramatically improve precision workflows. Right now, users are forced into scripts or external automation just to achieve superfine adjustments which is kinda nuts! Adding customizable increments would eliminate these incredible tiring workarounds and bring Illustrator in line with other pro tools that support multi‑tier nudging. This is a small change with a huge impact on layout accuracy, UI design, and typographic alignment. Thank you in advance for listening!
