    I'm using Ai 25.0 on a mac with Catalina 10.15.7.
    When applying the brush definition Charcoal Thin to a path the resulting effect is offset from the original path. The drawing doesn't line up.
    If I open an Ai file created using the previous (or earlier) versions of Ai, with the same brush effect used on a path the path is fine (not offset). If I then copy the drawing into the new file the path will become offset again!
    I have uninstalled Ai, and reinstalled and cleared all preferences and this has made no difference. Any ideas?
