    The following Work around did work for me:
    Deinstall Latest Windows Update from last Friday, March 12th
    Deactivate auto Update of Windows
    Deinstall Illustrator
    Reboot
    Reinstall Illustrator (not update)
    Works now fine - we had some more issues with the latest windows update in the company, so i gave it a try.
