I do not know why it is so hard to understand a simple problem. I cannot paste a name into a "New Folder" after the folder appears from the "New Folder" option in the "Save As" dialog box. I do not have a Clipboard Manager, this used to be an action that all previous versions of Illustrator has had in the past 25+ years.

This all happens when I am using Illustrator CC with latest update.

I am using Big Sur 11.2.3. When I "Save As" a document I get a box with an option to create a "New Folder" I type in the name "PDF REVISED", a name which I want to use again on another folder when I reuse the "Save As" option and create another "New Folder". This is a normal everyday function but I cannot get the second "New Folder" to accept the "Pasted" name.

When I do a "Save As" for a document and the next window gives me an option for a "New Folder" and name it, I want to copy that name and apply it to the next "New Folder" when I do another "Save As". Illustrator does not allow me to Paste the same name to another "New Folder" which is being saved to a different location than the first. Illustrator used to have this function, what happened to it.
