    Egor, THANK YOU! Disabling GPU rendering worked and then I unchecked GPU Performance in the preferences. Things seem to be working correctly. My laptop has a GTX 1050ti. Both my intel graphics and Nvidia GPU are showing in the Preferences>Performance window. Here are screenshots.

    I should also add that AI is not spiking my CPU/Memory/ GPU usage in any meaningful way. AI is also not crashing to desktop at all.

    I'm not using any plugins. I've uninstalled and reinstalled AI. I've restarted my laptop multiple times and made sure windows is completely up to date.
