Cannot Successfully Get Into Project
AI opens normally but when I start a new file things go awry. The home screen image remains "ghosted" over the blank project. Any side panel I open and close will then appear as if it is both open and closed at the same time. If I toggle the visability of the layer then it sort of clears the project screen to an almost normal looking project start (as in it clears the ghosted panels and home screen) but I cannot draw or do anything on the project. I am not experiencing any performance issues as far as lag or slow behavior. AI is snappy and responsive just unusable.
This issue is happening on my laptop running windows 10. I am new to AI and have been having no issues with it on my desktop. This is the first time attempting to use my laptop. This is happening on AI 26.0.3

Egor, THANK YOU! Disabling GPU rendering worked and then I unchecked GPU Performance in the preferences. Things seem to be working correctly. My laptop has a GTX 1050ti. Both my intel graphics and Nvidia GPU are showing in the Preferences>Performance window. Here are screenshots.

Well, this is not OK.
Definitely a rendering issue.
first of all, try to disable GPU rendering, View > View Using CPU.
If it helps, as a workaround disable it completely in Preferences > Performance > GPU Performance tick.
Then please provide the exact info about your graphics card (you can do these steps to check it: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/132824-check-what-graphics-card-gpu-windows-pc.html)
Then... we'll see how it goes :/ -

I should also add that AI is not spiking my CPU/Memory/ GPU usage in any meaningful way. AI is also not crashing to desktop at all.

I'm not using any plugins. I've uninstalled and reinstalled AI. I've restarted my laptop multiple times and made sure windows is completely up to date.
