   Backquote(`) can be used to transform a pattern within an object. Documentation is also updated for the same https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/default-keyboard-shortcuts.html.

   this isn't working for me either! along with the space bar shortcut for hand tool...has anyone had a solve for this?
