    I have the same issue with Illustrator 26.2.1 export on MacOS. It crashes when I try to export with a named group. I've also noticed that now completely disregards names of my graphic styles that I use for shapes - it exports everything as cls-1, cls-2 which breaks my process. I post process my svg files and require that graphic styles names get preserved as in the previous versions!

    Everything works correctly on 26.0.3 so this is a very recent bug.
