    Another person responded to a similar thread and shared how this is easy to fix:
    Go to Edit > preferences > general then check the box to "force pinch zoom"
    It worked for me just now! Thank you!

    Last week, pinch zoom worked fine in Photoshop and Illustrator when using my Lenovo Thinkpad E14. This week, pinch zoom does not work in Illustrator. I updated drivers, restarted, checked my settings, and tested pinch zoom in other programs; it is working just fine everywhere else. Do you have any suggestions about how I can renew pinch zoom capability in Illustrator? Thank you.
