    Neither have I, it's very bizarre. It now seems to be working again after the weekend, which is even stranger seeing as I didn't quit the program after using it last.

    – It's happened once before but corrected itself
    – This time I restarted Illustrator, restarted the computer, completed updates to both Illustrator and my Mac, yet it was still happening afterwards.
    – The points deselected when creating the next point
    – If I clicked and dragged, it created a point with handles but still deselected when creating the next point

    Like I said, it's working now but still very strange in the first place. I've been using Illustrator every day for 15 years and thought I'd seen everything, but this one had me completely stumped.
