    I have this issue as well.

    Images over 2g in size (could also be amount of pixels?) shown in these photoshop screenshots cannot be linked or placed into illustrator running natively on apple silicon.

    To link large images i need to open illustrator using rosetta and then it works. This problem is on all versions of illustrator than can run on apple silicon natively.

    Please fix this bug!
