Also, please allow Smart Objects to *link* from Photoshop into Illustrator documents, so that images are 1) easily integrated into a repeat pattern, 2) quickly and easily edited/updated and 3) not using massive file space.
(Current practice of embedding raster images means they are uneditable. Any edits to the image must be made in Photoshop, then image must be re-embedded.)
