    The most recent version that I'm seeing available for the stable release of Illustrator is 28.0.
    In this version, the problem is not showing. Characters display correctly in the glyph panel.

    The Glyph browser under Type > Glyphs is not displaying characters correctly in the most recent Illustrator beta update.

    macOS 14.1.2
    Illustrator Beta 28.2.41
    Select the type tool, and select some text. Navigate to Type > Glyphs. The characters for the selected typeface do not display correctly in the glyph browser.
