  1. image trace quick action does nothing...

    After experiencing the problem many people described below I figured out that you have to select through the Object menu: Image Trace>Make and Expand. If you only make it you then have to expand that to get the traced objects. Otherwise it will just create an outline based on your image size that you're tracing.
