    Any updates on this issue?

    I'm encountering the same thing with some characters such as:
    ASCII Unicode
    #9837 U+266D ♭ musical FLAT
    #9838 U+266E ♮ musical NATURAL
    #9839 U+266F ♯ musical SHARP
