    Sorry, I can't show you the PDF in question due to copyright issues.
    Only a part of the image in the exported PDF is grainy, the vector art was fine.
    When you export the PDF from Indesign, a part of the image becomes grainy. So if you open the PDF in Acrobat, the image part will look grainy.
