    Hi Avinash,
    Thanks for your reply. Here are the details you requested:
    I'm running Illustrator 29.5.1
    MacOS is Monterey 12.7.6 (I'm at the limit of my updates for my Mac)
    I have 100GB available of 1TB

    This occures only occasionally. I haven't been able to spot a pattern as to when it happens.
    Yes, when opening the Application itself.
    I've noticed it for about the past year with all Adobe products.

    I will try to grab a screenshot of the verification dialog box next time, but for now I can tell you it just says 'Verifying Adobe Illustrator' and shows a progress bar. It's only a small, brief dialog box.

    It's happening just when I launch the app, no particular files and it doesn't happen if the app is already open.
