    Please share your thoughts on the following:

    1. Would it make sense to have a separate desktop app, just to create charts, and bring them inside Illustrator or InDesign? It may not be on cloud.

    2. Or would you rather have us work on building it within Illustrator?

    Add basic chart types

    Allow for charting both positive and negative numbers

    I would keep it with illustrator, but more so, I support this comment I see below:

    "If you used the Microsoft Graph tool, you never realize you are using an external tool; it feels like it's part of the program you are in.

    So, not a separate tool so much as a call-out to the same component in AI and ID."
