    Hello! Thank you for your reply. Through my troubleshooting, I have found that the negative color inversion issue occurs when I un-embed an image that has its fill set to a spot color.

    I've discovered a workaround to prevent this anomaly: before un-embedding the image, if I change its fill to process black, the issue is resolved.

    I have attached my project file for your cross-reference testing to validate this workflow.
