    Both me and my colleagues have that Illustrator is NON-RESPONSIVE every few days when it comes to shortcut keys and other UI related controls, like right clicking layers. Try and group a few layers when you can't use shortcuts or right click 'm.

    Today I've spent the better part of the day trying to fix this, since it makes work near impossible.

    I've restarted app, restarted PC, restarted app without prefs, updated app, restarted app and PC again, deleted prefs file (rename to OLD) and what not.

    I expected it wouldn't last the entire day.
    Well ... I expected this bug to have been fixed years ago (since Googling on similar bugs give posts dating back to 2015)... but Adobe seems to rather add bug-sensitive features nobady asked for than resolve existing bugs.
