Same here. This all started after the Mojave updates. I've tried all the same things you have. It "behaves" for a few minutes and then try to do something with Tracking or resizing type and BAM! Back to sh!t.

I hate Adobe!!!!! They need to stop worrying about their stupid conferences and social media BS and work on their F#KKING product!

I feel like we are somehow in the same dimension, which is a very STRANGE one, and my Illustrator issues are different but the same. Since updating to Mojave 10 point whatever, All Adobe products have turned to ****. I can't get any help from Adobe and I blame them for not having better relationships with Apple on all these changes that come with the updates and GPU performance.

I am so frustrated at this point and feel like looking for other software that keeps up with the Macbook Pro. I really think it's a huge conspiracy to get us to upgrade to new machines. I'm on a lat 2016 MBP w/Touch Bar that I bought in 2017. Nightmare since this Mojave business. Have you fixed your issues yet?

The battery on this machine drains much faster as well since this "upgrade." So much fun.
