   Based on feedback, this issue is fixed by upgrading to MacOS Catalina . We are closing this .Let us know if you are still observing this on MacOS Catalina and we will reopen this thread.

   Turned off GPU on both illustrator and Indesign and hasn't happened, though absolutely see the lag.
