I have an iMac 2015 with the AMD Radeon R9 M390 and running Adobe Cloud CC (current). I only have Microsoft OneNote installed but have not used it other than a few times a few years ago. I use Libre Office to open Word documents occasionally but rarely use it either.
I get the flickering screen on the main integral monitor when using Illustrator but have had it happen in InDesign and Photoshop as well. However, law of averages, I use Illustrator all day long but the others only once a day a couple of times a week.
If i work quickly to get to the GPU preferences and toggle it off, the flickering stops but then I have "double vision" windows and still have to reboot but at least can find the save button to rescue my work.
