    Adobe could not figure out the problem when I called their support. I am on Windows 10, PC, and had updated to the latest Illustrator and InDesign. I think it is an Adobe problem with Windows 10.

    It has just started to do this in InDesign as well as of yesterday for me. :-(
    I have to close out the software and go back in so I can type in the search bar.
