    I ended up doing some windows updates (not sure why they were not automatically done). I think the tech from Adobe said they were optional updates. It seems to have solved the problem but I am working in illustrator today so we'll see.

    I am beginning to think it is Adobe related as well. I switched to a new computer at the same time so it is hard to tell. I have noticed the issue while using Illustrator and Indesign.

    I just re-downloaded windows and am starting over fresh (I am on a new computer). Trying to isolate the issue. Windows? Illustrator? Adobe? New Computer?
