I have a huge infographic chart to build for a client with graphic cubes that are all the same size but some have 1 to 4 lines of text. So, I have to manually adjust the text frame of every single one, align the text with the object, and then go and re-align the whole row again, and then distribute objects evenly everytime because this one BASIC feature is missing? I'm so disgusted that I'm now losing 2 hours of money on this project because I was searching for an answer that doesn't exist. Not to mention how much more I'll lose now that I'm aware there's no vertical text alignment feature. Absolutely unreal to me.
What Rob said... THIS NEEDS TO BE MOVED TO THE (((FRONT))) OF THE LINE! A super basic feature that even CorelDraw had 10 years ago. I'm losing a ton of money on an infographic project I under-bidded - not realizing this option wouldn't be available to me and will now take twice as long. It feels like I'm suddenly in the Twilight Zone - just now discovering that Illustrator can't justify text vertically. Mind = Blown.
