Support video placement for UX design
Being able to import videos and make a design on top of a looping video would be super helpful for all of us product designers that need to see how the movement of the video impact on a design. This can help in websites and apps, and for presentation purposes it would be nice to be able to export the video.
Right now to test a background video on a design you have to export the design and work on a new file inside a video editor.

The most important lesson to take away from this stage https://arounda.agency/blog/the-introduction-stage-of-a-product-life-cycle-definition-key-features-and is that you have to know what you are doing. There is no guarantee that your investment in research, testing, and branding will pay off in the end.

Placing videos would also be great for animators who need to add elements to video files. Sure, we can do that in Animate CC, but Illustrator's drawing tools are so vastly superior that it's not even funny.
And illustrators could use it to place a frame from a video for reference or rotoscoping/tracing.
The ability to choose (and change!) the selected frame(s) from a video — or, for that matter — an animated GIF or multi-page PDFs (which I believe you're adding already) would be very useful, as well.
