Clean, uncluttered interface
How about designing a user-friendly, intuitive vector app with a clean, uncluttered interface? You know, like Freehand used to be!

I am of the same opinion. It takes me hours to do the most simple tasks. Adobe can do better, as we see with InDesign oder PSD.
Handles of paths are so unhandy, why are there so many steps needed to produce simple forms? I am really missing freehand, too, even after so many years, Illustrator is not getting better. So sad. -

Thanks for logging this request. Does the new Properties panel in Illustrator CC 2018 not help in that regard?
