Opening old Freehand files in Illustrator?
Can you guys bring this "feature" to Illustrator?
There are a lot of old Freehand users still having TONS of Freehand files (illustrations, assets, icons, etc.) in their archives waiting for the day when Illustrator will open old Freehand files so we can reuse them once more!
I know this is a lot to ask, but can you guys give it a try?

Ok so you bought Freehand - what are you doing with it - just sitting on it - for me if you don't make it easy for me to open Freehand 7 files I will delete my Creative cloud and the cash that you charge me.......

Definitely make it possible to open old Freehand files. I have tons of them, and since Adobe put them out of business, it is only fair that they provide an option for converting those old files

PLEASE add the option to open old eps files in Illustrator,
some of us still have old 'Aldus' and 'Macromedia' eps Freehand files that we cannot open.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but I believe we were able to open Freehand files with Illustrator CS6. If you you are using Adobe Creative Cloud, you can still download and install CS6 by selecting "Manage".

It sure would be nice to be able access the many many Freehand files I have archived. I could reuse a lot of that art or at least print it out.

It's a shame that third party programs can open old freehand files.
Affinity designer can do it. -

I, too, have FH10 & FH11 files with illustrations and decals I cannot open. I have to use the PDF, if available, to recreate and update when needed.
