Forced column break
Can we get some decent text handling features that mimic at least fundamental options such as column breaks and a table feature within Illustrator? It's been 30 years now can't you get this done for once and for all?

What's also annoying is that these features get such low votes so the chance of it actually being seen and actioned is unlikely - if they update it it'll be because someone at Adobe thought it would be a good idea to make type consistent across the suite.

I wish the Indesign Software Dev Team and the Illustrator Software Dev Team shared the same canteen or even spoke to each other once in a while. There is no obvious synergy between the programs in so many respects from an end user's perspective.

Ugh - this is ridiculous, having to write this way. I agree this is a fundamental desktop publishing feature....Having to space down is ridiculous.
