Illustrator 2020 performance significantly slow/sluggish -
Sorry, can't recommend upgrade of 2020 to my colleagues. I work for a large Engineering firm and we have powerful computers. We have critical deadlines for Q4-2019 - Upgrading to 2020 will be a big mistake as it will cause delay to our projects and stress to the members .
Saving files takes too long, copying takes system long to process - pasting is fine. Adding text is ridiculously taking forever and it creates its own textbox size - It feels like going back to AI CS6.
Suggest to review what you had for AI 2019- this was one of the best versions.

I totally agree - and its not only Illustrator - Photoshop can be as bad. I have the whole Adobe enterprise suite - costs a great in money and time waiting for stuff to open and then it questions if I have a valid subscription 50% of the time ... so it starts again. I'm on 2021 version - and its a nightmare. I'm also fed up with Creative Cloud updates about 4 or 5 times a week.

I completely agree. I have never watched that darn spinning wheel so much in my life. Simple vector files just sit and spin on simple commands like zoom and copy & paste. AND it is so frustrating that you can't save back to 2019 and just go back to that. I also noticed that my files sizes are twice as big. UgH! This was a bad update.
