Change the Separations Preview panel to behave like it does in InDesign
Can you change the Separations Preview panel in Illustrator to behave just like it does in InDesign? The Separations Preview panel in InDesign shows the percentage of each color separation when you hover over an area of the artwork, and includes the Ink Limit option. Both of those features would be extremely useful in Illustrator.

  Totally agree. While making improvements, can we also be able to access the separation visibility using keyboard shortcuts? Don't use the shortcuts from InDesign though as they only either:
* Show lst spot plate
* Show 2nd spot plate
* Show 3rd spot plate
* Show 4th spot plate
* Show 5th spot plate
* Show Black plate
* Show Cyan plate
* Show Magenta plate
* Show Yellow plate
* Show all plates
They only show, not toggle between on and off, which is a major nusiance. -

  This is such an important thing for print production, and we almost always have to convert everything into an illustrator file to send to various print shops for production, why is this feature still not available in illustrator? it's annoying to have to convert files back and forth or open files in Acrobat just to check every file's colors.

  Similar to Indesign, to read the tints with the numbers in the separations palette. Currently when building we need to pop it into Indesign to take a reading, especially if there is transparency.
