Centralized Notification History
Currently, Notifications are eliminated when cleared. This is a problem if you accidentally clear a notification that you want to read later. Often a Notification can be a reference for something that you forgot that hasn't been documented yet.
Please resolve this issue by making Notifications like e-mail, where you have read notifications and unread notifications. This allows us to manually delete notifications at our convenience, but refer back to them when needed.
Either that or allow us to bookmark notifications for later use. This would require an entire Bookmarking system and seems a little much when you already have the tried and tested email model to use for read or skipped notifications.

Hello Jason!
We have introduced a new Notification Center which can be accessed via the bell icon in the top right corner (on the application bar).
All the notifications you receive are stored in their unread/read state here.
Does this address your request? Please let us know if you have any additional feedback.
I have also attached a screenshot for your reference. -

Currently, if you clear a notification or close a notification, it is gone. No way to refer back to it. This is problematic.
Centralized Notifications are GREAT and a great improvement, but they should include archives or read notifications. Often, I will skip a notification that present a potential rabbit hole that I am very interested in, but don't have the time to go down at the moment. Being able to have a list of "READ" or "UNREAD" notifications like email would be great.
Being able to read past notifications would be really helpful.
Thanks for your time and consideration.
