Path Eraser tool option to keep the path closed
Maybe while holding Opt/Alt, could be a good way to do it.
I often use the Pencil tool, especially Smooth option while holding Opt/Alt, to clean points when there are too many of them and it works well on curves but not on straight lines (they become wavy).
Sometimes I use the Path Eraser tool, but as its name tells it, it erases the path and then I have to select points and Ctrl+J to join. I just want an option to give us the choice to keep the path closed or not. It would require many less steps to…1 vote -

Searchbar for layers or simple filters
The same idea what we can find in PS. Possibility to show just a specific layers depends type of the filter. For example showing just a lock layers will be nice or show layers with specific fill color. If I've got a huge amount of layers in the project, event if I try to naming them I spend too much time for looking for locked layer or some specific one.

Pen tool work flow
I use several Adobe products and the Pen tool’s work flow in Illustrator is terrible. A lot of functionality is separated into several different tools that could all be wrapped together into one beautiful tool. The Pen tool’s work flow within Photoshop works so much better! (Make a line, Add or subtract anchor points, Add or break curves, move an anchor point, move a line, rotate a selection of anchor points.) Crashes on opening any file when minimized into dock

透明分割を分割統合すると、レイヤーの位置が変わる
あるレイヤーを、添付画像の設定で「透明分割を分割統合」すると、レイヤーウインドウの中のレイヤーの位置が、一番上に来てしまうエラーがあります。
いちいちレイヤーを元の位置に戻さなくてはならないのが面倒くさいです。

Inking mode
Provide ability to “ink” a line drawing. Provide a means to color fill bounded areas - similar to the way color fill is handled in Procreate as an example. After using the pen tool to define the lines of an illustration - like for example a cartoon character - it would be very helpful to be able to colorize the line drawing by dragging color in to bounded (leak proof) areas created by these overlapping lines.

Please make sure Ai request my log in all the time
MAKE SURE Ai PROMPT MY LOG IN WHEN I LAUNCH IT,
I tried restarting AI two times, it skipped the log in window,

Variable width stroke
Please make the stroke took have a more variable width and definition ability with it’s width, points, etc.

Change of pixel dimension
When you want to change from resolution 800×480 to 1024×600, there is a slight difference in pixel dimension to retain circle shaped objects. So idea is that you are able to change pixel dimension and convert some files, instead of drawing new ones. For example-you have a circled object in some .ai file, where you have square pixels. If AI would allow to change pixel shape to rectangular, like 0,14 mm height and 0,15 mm width, or 0,148 mm,..., then it would fasten up things of making same graphic for different screen resolution with tool of pixel dimensions, instead of…

9-point magnetic object-to-grid (or-grid to-object) without smart guides
Could you consider a feature used in Esko Graphics (Artpro) for the placement of objects (9-point grid) to a crosshair or placing a crosshair to an object. This would expand current align and artboard functions into one clean and user friendly feature. Would also improve functions such as Mirror, Scale, Paste in place, copying to correct location across various files even if rulers are not set the same. libCC remain path aspect vs PDF like
When incorporating an object from a library, (but the same behavior occurs if the file is placed) the Object lose all the appeareance and is imported as expanded wth some "clipping path added"
however, the Appearance information is still in the file because if you ask to edit the original all is fine.
Could it be possible to add a preference in the "embed" menu to ask if you embed as "Pdf" or as "AICB" the same dialog you can have in Saving Clipboard Prefs ?
This could be really valuable.

Press the Option key while dropping graphics from CC Library to artboard in Illustrator to bring the ‘original’ AI content. This will directly embed the graphic. Without the Option key it places the graphic, and all AI files get placed as PDF, hence the issues.
