Illustrator for Android
I was not being offhand Adobe when I replied "That will have to do."
re: the Illustrator version for Android that we were discussing, I am hoping that the Android version of Illustrator will be as fully versatile as the PC version with just as much ability.

I know apple is the common thing but android users are also part of the market and deserve to have access to such vector software. It isn't fair.

Hello. I understand that it is much easier to develep an app for ipad than on android, since there are few iOS devices, and many Android ones. But lets just focus on the start. I believe that the technological and popular leader on Android devices is Samsung. Their superdeveloped sPen, beautiful and crisp clear screens etc. Lets start there. And then keep going ... but really. I dont want to be forced by Adobe to buy Apple products, just because its a partner. I believe we pay for the package the same money, so why not stay at least 1:1 on this topic.

It's absolutely absurd that Adobe continues to ignore the Android community, by only making Photoshop and illustrator available for the iPad. When Adobe first introduced Photoshop Touch it was released on Android first before going to iOS. Enough is enough Adobe. If you guys are serious about generating revenue then bring the same capable versions of Photoshop and illustrator to the android platform and stop insulting us with these cookie cutter apps currently released for Android users.

Yes please make some functional creative apps that aren't just collage based clip art bs. Thanks. I just bought new spens for nothing. I bought my s6 lite specifically to use the Stylus in photoshop sketch and illustrator draw but those were ebbed sub par on Android. Very dissapointed and researching other options beyond buying a macs and an iPad!

Wacom pen, OLED screen, and models that are more affordable. Please give people the option to run Illustrator (iPad UX) on android tablets. At least start with Samsung, because their sPen is arguably superior in the Android world.

With more people working from home and on the go it now appears you are purposefully neglecting a huge share of your market, being those of us who work on fully capable Android devices. There seems to be no other reason you would deliberately miss out on the revenue and support we would've provided. I'm disappointed but have found alternative software and will encourage my workplace and other Android users to do the same. It has been several years of waiting and that is enough.

So are there no android app devs. At Adobe? I would be okay with a backend developed app off the ios app until the team can produce a full android developed app.

Yes please, I would greatly appreciate Illustrator on Android. I currently have not been able to find a comparable vector-based drawing app on the platform.

Currently Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 is the main competing device against Apple Ipad Pro. So, Why not make "Illustrator on the Ipad" app compatible with Android as well?
Galaxy Tab S7 has the same capabilities as Ipad Pro, and many Users agree that this app would be a good alternative to work on Android (remembering that you discontinued Photoshop Sketch and Illustrator Draw and that you also did not develop "Fresco" for Android) -

I saw that there is a version of illustrator for Ipad. It would be good for them to develop the same version for Android, as we are many users who have Tablets with great potential similar to the iPad (the app could be called "Illustrator on the Android" ) since "Illustrator Draw" is not so complete

Agreed! I feel like with the recent releases for Android and Chrome, Adobe is missing out on a whole other market at the moment. I would love to have the new apps from Adobe on my Android tablet!

Agreed! The new Samsung tablets are beautiful and a great alternative to the iPad with a more affordable price tag. Please consider adding illustrator to android systems as well! I prefer the Android system for file sharing and compatibility with my phone and my Windows desktop. With the discontinuation of Adobe Illustrator Draw and similar apps on Android, better alternatives from Adobe would be an asset to my workflow. Other programs such as Clip Studio Paint are available on both operating systems, if other Adobe products aren't available on Android, I'll have to switch programs to get ones that are compatible with the devices that I want to use. If Illustrator comes to Android, I would be happy to beta test it.

Illustrator is full and working on iPads. I know that high end android tablets can handle the software. Please make it available for tablets as well!

I wanted to use Adobe Illustrator on my Android tablet or Android cellphones. I don't want to buy brand new Apple devices so I can use Illustrator. Instead, we have decided to purchase a Canva subscription. Which is disappointing because Canva doesn't have all the features we need. And it is inconvenient to use my laptop in comparison to my cell phone when I'm out and about. I was really hoping to use Illustrator with a Samsung Note phone and I'm very disappointed.

different from the ipad the Android tablets do not have the most complete version of the software and we Android users want this immediately, so we pay the same amount for the software

I know that it's difficult to build apps across multiple platforms, but it would be so incredible to have on Android or Chrome OS, Adobe apps like Fresco, the new Photoshop, and the new Illustrator (which are available or coming out soon on the iPad Pro). Apple has amazing products with the iPad Pro, but Google and others are developing other competitive products that work on Android and Chrome OS, and it's only going to get better from here on out. Although a large portion of the creative community uses Apple products, not everyone does, and other companies like Microsoft and Google are really stepping up to compete.
