  1. Getting "This file cannot be found" when saving a new file. Can't save my ai file.

  2. Opening PDF with missing font immediately saves file as .ai

    Opening a pdf which has fonts not available on your system results in an immediate save as .ai after dismissing the replace font dialog. Occasionally Illustrator will then stop accepting mouse clicks, as though it has a open dialog box waiting for an action.

    Lockup aside, the expected behavior is the file isn't saved.

    Started with the latest version of Illustrator, running on MacOS 14.8

  3. Embedded Image Not Displaying in PDF (using version 26.0.2)

    Using version 26.0.2 and having this problem but partially. My layouts consist of one or two enveloped images that display fine, but an embedded image that I just place and embed, is not displaying after I save the file as a PDF. I save it as [Smallest File Size] or other; it doesn't matter. What is preventing that embedded image (vector or raster) from displaying correctly? Thank you

  4. Freezing when saving as SVG

    Recently (last 2-3 days) I am almost unable to save AI files as SVG. Illustrator either crashes completely, or freezes for several minutes. This has never been an issue for me. I'm on a Dell with Intel i7-7700 and Windows 10. I have no issues using Photoshop, FrameMaker, or InDesign.

    The SVG issue is most pressing, I'm trying to save 500+ AI files as SVG and it's eating up quite a lot of time waiting for it to unfreeze.
    I'm using Illustrator CC 23.1.
