- Details of your operating system
- The version of Adobe Illustrator (desktop)
- The steps you were taking when you experienced the issues
- Your expected result and the actual result
- Upload your Illustrator file or a video (screen recording or gif, this helps us most to reproduce the issue and resolve it)

Variable font remains static
I've been working on various variable fonts, which, while there are sometimes are some GPU rendering issues in Illustrator, work as expected.
However, my last creation remains static while changing the variable (see example). The font variation works perfectly in online environments, it's only in Adobe apps that this seems to be an issue.
Using version 22.1

Illustrator refusing to show fonts in character search when typing with no drop down, illustrator cc 2018
Changing font by clicking in the character search bar doesn't bring up the drop down or show the font changing... it's acting really buggy

Font does not look good
Your version of Adobe Illustrator: CC 22.0.0 (64-bit)
The steps you were taking when you experienced the issues: anytime I use fonts
Your expected result: I expected that fonts will preview correctly
Your actual result: I've attached an image. First text is with a type, second is after I use create outlines.Thank you very much

Changing font by typing first character isn't working illustrator cc
Changing/selecting font by typing first character is not working
or scrolling with arrow has no preview.

Text selection not showing highlighting after macOS High Sierra 10.13 download
When selecting any text, the text is not highlighted, thus removing my ability to know what I have selected. I am running a mid 2010 MacBook Pro. All was working well until I updated to macOS High Sierra 10.13. I have done all work arounds with no success.
