    Hi Naoh,

    on run type %appdata%
    In this go to Adobe folder and that should contain 'CCX Welcome'

    We have the fix available in the latest release. Please update Illustrator using Adobe Creative Cloud application to the latest build for version Illustrator CC 24.0.1
    Now your files created in 23.1.1 or prior will retain layer color when opened in 24.0.1

    Please accept my sincere apology for the inconvenience and disappointment the issue has caused. We have a fix available in the pre-release build. Please visit https://adobe.ly/1o2SDsg and get the latest build for version 24.0.1 and let us know if the issue is fixed for you or not?

    While the build is pre-release, this build is of production quality. Please feel free to use / recommend it for your day to day activity.

    Hi All,

    We have tried to reproduce this issue inhouse and are not able to reproduce it. We are testing on 10.13.2 which is upgraded from 10.12.6. We have tired saving to dropbox, netwrok and local system.

    Can you please share the following infortmation:

    1. Are you using 10.13.2? If it is 10.13 or 10.13.1, then can you please verify after upgrading to 10.13.2 and see if the issue is still there?
    2. Is the problem happening for particular size of files or with any file?
    3. Does the problem go away if you delete the preferences of Illustrator?

    Hi All,

    Here is the Workaround:

    Mac: Quit Safari as it takes away the spacebar shortcut

    Win:
    For Windows we have a solution to make the space bar work as the hand tool by modifying few track pad settings of your system.
    The behavior you are encountering on systems running Windows is related to the Accidental Activation Prevention (AAP) feature that was added in Windows 8.1. The feature’s goal is to help ensure that unintended taps on the touchpad do not switch focus to another application while the user is typing. When this feature is enabled, taps and clicks from an integrated touchpad or pointing stick are suppressed for a while after the last keystroke.
    The feature’s settings can be modified via the Settings | Touchpad applet. Setting the Touchpad Sensitivity option to Most Sensitive should disable AAP and allow Illustrator to detect when the Space key and left track pad button are both down.
    You will find an option named 'touch guard' under track pad settings. Check if its Turned OFF. This may prevent Illustrator from using hand tool short cut.

    Please change it to 'Search Entire Font Name" and you will see the font getting selected.
