  1. Abnormal selection after executing an action in a script.

    According to the person in the know, this has been occurring since version 25.4; it was normal in 25.2.x.
    When an action to duplicate an object is created and executed by specifying the action in the script function doScript(), the execution completes with the duplicated object and the original object selected at the same time.

    Although it is logical to perform all processing in scripts, there are situations where it is unavoidable in the process.
    In addition, this is clearly an abnormal situation.
    We would like to see an improvement.

  2. New Blend panel doesn’t support actions

    As reported by Kurt Gold here —https://community.adobe.com/questions-652/illustrator-30-7-new-blend-panel-no-actions-1635013

    In Illustrator 30.7 the modal Blend Options dialog was replaced with a dedicated Blend panel. Basically, that's an improvement.

    BUT: Unlike the modal dialog, none of the settings in the new panel can be recorded as part of an action in the Actions panel. That's a pain.

    Adobe, I guess you can imagine that this is a serious setback for action creators?

    What is the general reason why you don't make sure that new commands/settings are always actionable?
